The NUOLI organisation accepts as members experts and
employees who have completed at least the lowest higher educational level
(college level) degree in the fields of youth and/or sports studies, as well as
students studying in these fields. The Board may also, for specifically
justified grounds, approve the membership of a person who does not meet the
specified degree level requirement for membership. Justified grounds may
include, for example, service in expert positions and/or extensive work
experience. In such a case, the application should contain a separately written
explanation of the qualifying grounds for membership.
Select or print out a membership application
Select a membership application corresponding to the
sector in which you work. If you are currently unemployed, select the
application for the sector in which you will most likely be working. A separate
membership application is available for students. The membership applications
are Internet-based online forms. You simply need to complete the application
fields carefully and completely, and then press the send button.
Mailing or faxing your membership application
You may also mail or fax your membership application
to the member secretaries of our central organisation, Akava Special Branches.
The member secretaries will forward your application to the Board of our trade
union for processing. The Board approves membership for those applicants who
meet the membership criteria and forwards their information to the membership
registry, which is maintained by Akava Special Branches and includes all the
members of the central organisation.
Your membership is valid from the date on which your
application is received by the office of Akava Special Branches or (if directly
submitted to our trade union) the office of the Specialists in the Youth and
Sports Sector, unless you would like your membership to begin at a specified
later date. Contact information for our central organisation:
